MACKEIGAN LABORATORY
The laboratory seeks a systems level understanding of cancer biology and cell signaling networks that encompass autophagy, the mTOR pathway and cancer metabolism. Our research involves a variety of cutting-edge technologies, and we use our tumor biology expertise and pathway knowledge to study complex diseases. All of our research projects have one common goal—to identify novel therapeutic targets.

TRAINING
Over the past 20 years, the laboratory has had the privilege of training 22 talented individuals, including graduate students, medical students, postdoctoral fellows, and pediatric oncology fellows. Additionally, the laboratory has mentored 17 undergraduate students, including two Goldwater Scholars. Over the years, the laboratory has also been fortunate to collaborate and work alongside 32 dedicated research staff members to drive our research and impact.
